University of Texas

The University of Texas Cycling Team competes against other colleges and universities under the national governance of the National Collegiate Cycling Association and the United States Cycling Federation in the disciplines of Road, Mountain Biking, Track and Cyclocross. Our conference, the South Central Collegiate Cycling Conference includes, in addition to ourselves, Texas A&M, North Texas, Texas Tech, Texas State, Baylor and Midwestern State. In the past we have won six National Titles on the road and track, and produced All-American cyclists like Paul Read and Ian Dille. Collegiate cycling offers three categories of men’s competition and two of women’s, allowing riders of all levels and skill to participate. Texas Cycling supports our cyclists by paying for race fees and travel expenses, securing sponsorships for free and discounted merchandise and providing coaching and other training resources to facilitate rider development.
